Kerala, God's Own Country, has nearly 600 km of Arabian Sea shoreline. It's known for its palm-lined beaches and backwaters, a network of canals. Kerala also has a portion of the western ghats, where tea, coffee and spice plantations as well as wildlife thrive. National parks like Eravikulam and Periyar, plus Wayanad and other sanctuaries, are home to elephants, langur monkeys and tigers. A long shoreline with serene beaches, tranquil stretches of emerald backwaters, lush hill stations and exotic wildlife, are what makes Kerala truly paradise on earth.
