The home built on the host’s ancestral land was not an easy task to start with. Since the home was lying abandoned and needed renovation work and for which the suitable financial assistance was required. After long discussions within the family, a decision was made to support him in his idea. This ancestral property is almost 80 years old, being a genuinely traditional pahari structure, it has a lot to offer as it has been built totally of wood/stone/mud.

Dhaam is the staple name for any meal that comes as a full package that goes perfectly well with your palatte craving for traditional spices promising a healthy dose of nutrients.
The dish includes dal,rajma,rice,curd,boor ki Kadi and is very well complemented with gur(jaggery).The dish has a compilation of all the must - serve delicacies prepared by the host.
The food is sourced locally by the farmers who depend on the sale of their veggies for their livelihood, the hosts believe in buying from such small markets as they are free from the use of any pesticides or additives.

The host was born in the mountains! Yes, he’s living the dream most crave to make their reality.The mountains have been a way of life for him being brought up in the company of such serene beauty and paradise like environment, He has achieved a sense of satisfaction and has decided to live here for the rest of his life even if he gets a better life and employment anywhere else.
He strongly believes that Migration from mountains leads to abandoned agriculture, land degradation and loss of cultural values and ancient traditions.Education and training, market access, diverse employment opportunities and good public services can ensure a brighter future for young people in the mountains.
After completing his degree of B.Tech.the only career choice he had was to apply for a job in some MNC that meant he had to leave the place. While struggling for availing various career opportunities he came to know about the concept of homestays being run by people in his valley. Earlier he thought it cannot be a good career choice in the long run. Since the idea got stuck in his head he thought about giving it a try. He converted his ancestral property lying abandoned into this beautiful place.
